Community Basketball (K-3rd grade) Information
The participating communities are Welcome, Midway, Arcadia, Wallburg, and Friendship.
Games are played on Friday Evenings and Saturdays at Midway and Friendship Elementary School gym's.
Basketball season runs November thru March.  Season consist of 8 games plus a single elimination tournament.
Access to local gyms for practice are very limited, please allow some flexibility for practice schedules!
Practices are scheduled weekdays at the Welcome Gym, some weekend practices prior to the start of the season.
Age Groups: K/1st grade division (5-6 years old)
                                    2nd grade/3rd grade division (7-8 years old)
Age Cut-off Date: August 31st of playing year.
If you are practicing at the Welcome gym the COACHES/PARENTS need to ensure that: bathrooms are clean,
lights are turned off, set the alarm, lock the gym doors and return the gym key.
